What do you mean by “better” placements?

We are often asked, “What are the 10 best private schools?”

Porter Sargent believes there is no “best” school, and that rankings are an exercise in vanity and futility. The goal of the Handbooks is to provide readers with the information they want to—and ought to—know to make the best decision for each child. Often, that decision is best made in conjunction with a professional educational consultant, one that doesn’t accept referral compensation from schools. We recommend members of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
